I ordered something online from Livique which had a long lead time on it, so I selected „kauf auf rechnung“, and expected to either receive the bill on delivery or per email. Neither of these things happened. I‘ve now received a bill from „paycard“, asking for a „minimum“ payment of 10% although there is also an option to pay the full amount. It looks a bit dodgy as it‘s printed in slightly blurry ink, as if from some ancient B&W inkjet printer. But order number, date of purchase, amount, all my details etc match and I was eventually convinced it was genuine. Then I tried to pay it and UBS flagged it as a potential scam :S.
Can anyone familiar with paycard confirm if this is normal and what their bank account details are? There doesn‘t seem to be any way to contact livique about it and googling „paycard“ gets me no hits except reddit. There‘s a web address on the dodgy looking letter which looks entirely genuine but I don‘t exactly trust it when google never seems to have heard of this company.
I‘ve got no interest in installments and want to pay the bill in full - just want to check it‘s not a scam first!
Pay card is associated with coop, and that is what they use for rechnung type payments. Livique is part of coop. If you have not recieved your item, you might want to check on it though.
I have received the item. The two red flags are just the dodgy printing and UBS flagging it - I would expect UBS to know what Paycard’s bank details are.
I would expect ubs to know, but as a recent new customer (transitioned from credit Suisse) I have seen some weird glitches, so check with them as well…
