Can't believe I'm having to ask this, but does anybody know if Blu Tack (the removable reusable sticky blue mastic you use to stick posters to walls) is available in Switzerland and where do I get it ? or if not, what is the local equivalent and where do I get it ?
So far I have tried a large Coop, Coop Bau+Hobby and Office World and found nothing, and they never even heard of Blu Tack :-(
BTW It's not for wall posters in the particular case, but for sticking hi-fi loudspeakers to speakers stands - it's very versatile stuff :-)
Can't believe I'm replying to a thread about blu-tac(!) but I spent ages searching for it a few weeks ago then walked into a small stationery shop in our local town of Morges and found loads of the stuff. They also sold something similar by the same people who make Pritt Stick. You therefore might be better off heading to your local 'papeterie' rather than the supermarket :-)
They must have it somewhere because 'grandma' was in town a few weeks ago and her parting gift to the grandkids was a secret midnight feast and she stuck glow-in-the dark stars all over the kids bedroom window...with white stuff which was very much like 'blu tack'...
I'm guessing she got it from the papeterie as that is where she also got the glow-in-the-dark stars...
I cannot remember what the 'original' which was available in Stationer's Shops was called.
However, I have Mi Coll Haftpunkte 'MULTI-FIX' from the Migros. flat packet, turquoise and white, 17cms x 9 cms, containing 55 small white squares for Fr.2.80.
As Swisspea says, it looks just like white Blue Tac
And I've found the 'white' tack in DIY stores like Jumbo, in the same place as all the glues. Can't remember the name, but it's in a bright yellow pack.
It's marked out in little squares which makes it look like you need to use it in those chunks, but that's actually just an embossed pattern thing, and you can tear off as much or as little as you like just like with the regular blue stuff.

EDIT: Nope, wasn't Jumbo, as I looked for it in there yesterday. Must have been Hornbach.
