Bowling in Zürich

Hello,

Does anyone can recommend the place for bowling in Zürich with a nice atmosphere and possibility to drink a beer afterward? The grup consists of ca. 20 people (not proffesionals )

Thanks for any tips,

Karina

good question, don't think there are many proper dedicated bowling places around Zurich - but in Seebach there are 2 bowling alleys, one small dingy one in the basement of the Landhaus Hotel (a bit rubbish) and another one on glattalstrasse - not been to the other one but it looks like it's in the basement of an apartment block and again not a proper big bowling alley place like you think of in the UK and elsewhere

oops posts crossed

Well, never seen a "proper" bowling alley, so I cannot compare. But to my eyes it does look rather professionally --> http://www.bowling-master.ch been there every now and then. It is a bit pricey though (as everything...). It's on Glattalstr. 40 in Seebach

Have fun!

hi

i know it is not in zurich, but we go to a proper english style bowling alley at rumnikon near winterthur

Has anyone ever been to Bowling Universum in Dietlikon? (same building as Toys R us)

We actually went to this one last week for our first bowling experience in CH. It is quite all right. About 14 lanes with a bar and some food. They even have Miller Genuine Draft if you want the 'American bowling experience.'

I would like to try the other places in Zurich area, but we were happy enough with this one.

Cherry bowl in Sihlbrugg has 12 lanes and you are allowed to drink while playing (instead of having to leave and drink at the bar like back home). I've been there on a Friday evening when they had a dj and prizes for the next strike ect.

Continuing this thread, I am sure some of you have tried out the bowling possibilities around Zurich. Has anyone actually been to the one in Schlieren? Would you recommend it? http://www.bowling-west.ch/site/special_rest.aspx

feedback? thanks

Hi, are these bowling centres family friendly? And don't they cost a tad bit much for just a couple of rounds for one or two adults?

Try the one in Affoltern am Albis.

Bowling West in Schlieren I would recommend great place for kids and adults .
