Bran Flakes Coop

Further to my rant nearly two years ago about irregular crunchy peanut butter supply , Coop has turned its attention to our favourite breakfast cereal as a way to annoy us.

Bran Flakes (known in Switzerland as All Bran) have been removed from Coop's assortment - not even available on the Coop At Home website. We now have to resort to shopping at Migros - a supermarket that does not sell beer. Therefore necessitating several shopping trips to stock our cupboards each week!

And don't get me started on the fact that our local Coop are really rubbish at restocking their shelves. Whatever I go in to buy (it was naan bread last week) there will be a label on the shelf, and an empty shelf where the item should be. Oh, and they ran out of peanut butter last week. Again.

Have you tried Nestle fitness ?

I bought a bunch recently because I'm cheap, my COOP had a batch where the cartons were damaged (inner bag was fine).. Selling for 1chf

I think they are just as good or better than bran flakes.

Coop is duking it out with Kellogg's/Mars:

I like Fine Food Yucatan Crisp. Fills the need for something cereal-ish in the mornings but it's not a bran flake replacement.

Hah, I was looking for them yesterday and wondering why I couldn't find them. Even so, the bran flakes were a poor substitute in my mind for the All Bran in little strings which they stopped stocking some years ago.

Keep regular!

It’s actually my son who eats them. Once he’s finished the Weetabix we got instead, we might try the Nestle ones.

Lidl's got some great bran flakes

I kind of like this (thanks meloncollie for the info).

Shouldn't you folks be supportive of this fight? Maybe Mars was also gonna shrink the packing (like Coca Cola) but keep the price where it is?

What's it gonna be: TIS or showing a little stamina?

Ottos is the place to go for peanut butter.

They also had a load of Cadbury stuff in a few weeks ago.

Hi nickatbasel,

I was also pretty disappointed to no longer find Kellogg's bran flakes and sticks at Coop. And Manor's shelf where they (or at least the bran sticks) should have been was empty due to some package-related issue they said.

But guess what: they are selling both on brack.ch.

[*]All Bran Fiber Plus (sticks), 500g, CHF 4.80.[*]All Bran Regular flakes, 500g, CHF 4.80.

Free shipping if you spend CHF 50.00. (They have other useful household goods and equipment.) This could save you running around to get what you need.

Check it out

My order from BRACK.CH was made on 17 April at around 9:50 and the package was delivered on the 18th around 9:30.

It contained several boxes of All Bran flakes, expiration date 19/1/2020 and All Bran sticks, expiration date 26/2/2020.

Very happy with this company and fast, efficient service with postal package tracking.

Thanks all you weirdos for making me feel normal! I visited my 4th coop today in my bran search and came home frustrated. Googled coopathome all bran and guess what was the 2nd option? You!! Brack now has a new customer and I feel relieved.

I heard they are digestive.
