Brunch in Zurich at the Marriott?

Has anyone been to the Marriott for Brunch in Zurich? The pictures make it look tasty and they advertise a children's playroom. We have a toddler so that could help make our brunch more enjoyable. We are looking for a place on Easter Sunday that is not too fancy for a toddler to tag along but also still serves great food!

Would love feedback!

Yeap, tried it before.

Very child friendly. I see the adults leaving their kids in the play room (which is on the same level, just outside) and enjoying their brunch. Dont remember if they had toddlers as I saw mostly older kids. Best to call the hotel and check.

The food variety is ok - cold meats, warm section, sushi, thai, salads, cheese, desserts, the works! Just be careful not to overdose on the free flowing prosecco! Your children will not be impressed if mummy and daddy come pick them up all giggly.

Not been there, but did go to the veggie restaurant Hiltl near Jelmoli in Zurich on Sunday. If you don't mind there being no meat or fish, they have a great menu and a buffet which you can either pay for by weight or on an all you eat basis (and at 55CHF per head you want to be able to eat quite a bit!)

For that price though it does include prosecco (possibly more than one I think), unlimited fruit juice, a variety of starter dishes, main dishes and desserts (mainly Indian cuisine) but there are also a few chinese items, breakfast items like gipfel, eggs etc. Kids eat free until they are 6 from the buffet or there is a kids menu with spaghetti and the like on.

But....best of all....you can quite literally tell kids to go and draw on the wall! They provided pens with which the nippers can go off and draw all over the glass stairwell with...hoorah - eating in peace with the kids present. While a little line of kids sat in silence drawing on the glass. Fantastic!

They also had colouring books they were giving out and a trolley with some books to read on. They even warmed up baby food and served it on a silver tray! How very posh!

You can book on-line too.

(I am not affiliated with them in any way whatsoever, I just like to give praise where it is due!)

Any recent impressions from Marriot? Any indications on price?

Last time I was there it was 85 CHF per person. Huge variety, plan to go and eat all day.

85CHF??? When was that?

I paid only 69CHF and that was last month for a friend's birthday!
