Hi, Does anybody know where I can purchase some Bubble wrap in the Nyon / Geneva area. Thanks.

Can't tell you about the local area - but I'd suggest finding a removal company or freight forwarder - I bought a whole load of packing materials (including bubble wrap) from a freight company a while ago.

Do you need "tent size" bubble wrap or smaller rolls?

I guess it's kinda difficult to find local links, if you don't know what's "bubble wrap" in French.

The German word is "Luftpolsterfolie":

Type "Luftpolsterfolie" on www.google.ch and enable "Pages from Switzerland". You'll find a few links.

I've ordered once a while ago some other special items from www.baer-portal.ch , their service was good and they have free delivery.

I saw large rolls (1m long by 40cm in diameter) at the Migros, or Coop or Post Office in Neuchatel, cannot remember which but this town is also French speaking so maybe that helps for Geneva too I am not sure.

If you need more bubble wrap, or want free stuff, maybe ask at a computer shop or furniture store. Oh, and bring a wife/girlfriend if you are not female, it works much better if she asks.

Does anybody know how to dispose of bubble wrap? Recycle? Normal refuse? Oh,yes we're in Zurich.

Normal refuse is fine but first you should let the air out of the bubbles

(that's where the fun comes in)

Then it would be nice if you updated your location in your profile.
