Buying and returning goods to Zalando

Does one have to pay for the goods first before sending it back?( paying by bill ). Or can one just send back the goods?

You can just return the goods. And posting is free.

You have to print out the address-thingy though (which also lets them know what you're sending back).

And guess what, it's all on their website

Our package normally comes with a pre-made sticky return label.. We just peel it off and stick it over the top of our address.

It's great, order multiple sizes and colours and styles.. Keep what you want and send the rest back and only pay for what you kept.

With Zalando, you're sure?

The others do it that way but with Zalando you usually have to log on and let them know what you return - then you also get the label done.

But maybe they've changed it as I haven't done business with them for ages.

The label comes with the order.

Step 1 is to Log in and let them know what items in the order you will be returning. Step 2 is to use the label sent with the order and give the package to the post office.

You don't have to pay in advance only if the value of your order reaches a certain point (something round CHF 1000). You can chose from a variety of payment options (bill, pre-pay, credit card etc.)

Sending items back: Use the original bag/box.

Log in at Zalando.

Go to 'Mein Konto' then to 'Artikel zurückschicken' -> 'Artikel jetzt zurückschicken'.

Chose the 'Bestellung' you want to send items back from.

'Artikel aus dieser Sendung zurückschicken'.

Tick the box of the item you want to send back. Confirm.

Put the item/s back in the bag/box.

Stick the return label on (which you find on the bill in the bag/box) and bring it to the post office.

Additionally to the above: note that if you order a lot and return a lot, as of a certain point, you won't be able to pay by invoice anymore (for a while anyway), but need to prepay via credit card. Not sure what the threshold is, and I'm guessing it's quite high - I order a fair bit and also return a lot, but never had that problem. Happened to a friend though.

Zalando sends the label...Zalando-lounge does not.

A bit crazy that when I get a confirmation of my order from Zalando that it lands in "Spam" in Thunderbird mail program.

Right mouse-click on message - "markieren" (mark?) - junk .... no junk ... what ever you want it to be, there is a spam-filter you can set as well ....

Yes, that's not a bad thing usually. But if you "tell" your thunderbird that it is not, it will change.

You can also just put the address of zalando in your addresses and thunderbird will consider zalando a friend
