C permit re-new, language requirements

Hello.

Got my C permit in 2019 ,which is up for renew in 2024.

While obtaining my original C permit, I had to proof language skills (A2 oral and A1 written) which I did with a Gothe test I did in 2017.

In 2024, with the premit renew, will I need to again provide language certificate? (Or my 2017 certificate is just fine).

You don’t need to provide the language certificate for renewals.

You do not renew your permit C. All you need is a new permit card every 5 years.
