Am looking at 2 possible phone variations and aside from one model ID having 2 extra letters, namely BU, I can see no differences beside the price. Can anyone tell me the difference?

One of them is only available in one shop and in this shop both models have similar price. I wasn't able to find any differences. Maybe it's the same model released in different years?
It doesn't answer your question but Android 10 is quite ancient (if that is what is still installed on these phones)
It's a valid point. An old model might not receive critical and security updates from Google anymore, which makes it less secure.
...and it won’t be secure from Google either.
Yeah! I know. Perhaps upgradeable to 11.
But all I want is a CHEAP extra phone with ip69 that can be bashed around and washed with water from time to time.
Only need it for phone calls, sms and what's app. perhaps also Threema.
Why not a simple Samsung like this?
But it doesn't support ip69!
It seems that the -NNBUB or -NNBU versions are pretty much identical as the -NN versions. It is the "business edition", which CAT sells to companies for business use. They come with very little pre-installed apps and a guarantee of updates for a few years.
did you also consider getting an IP69 cover?
