Can someone suggest an affordable key cutting service in London ?

Just went to Barry Bros, Paddington to have a copy of the Kaba KA-7 cut ( GBP20 a pop but no blanks in stock ). Would anyone who has done this suggest a place where I might try to have a copy cut ?

Thanks in advance.

try Selfridges, they got a key cutting service in the basement right at the corner by Joseph Joseph.

Dear OP, this is the Englishforum in Switzerland and your question doesn't pertain to anything remotely related to Switzerland. Our pro bono mods work hard to keep the content on topic and related to life in Switzerland and thus, I urge you to please use the Englishforum in England for you inquiry.

Maybe a bit out of your way, but I can recommend I & S Locksmiths in Warple Rd Wimbledon. They have never cut a key that didn't work. http://www.allinlondon.co.uk/directory/1259/13630.php

I avoid Mister Minit and places that do shoes as well as I can't trust their key cutting.

Thanks Gourmet and MarieZug. Will give them a shot.

LIB, it is in the OT section - can't find a better forum than this when one needs help from the experienced and learned members

careful you will have all the nay sayers going on thats its "VERBOTEN!!!!"

Why would it be?

There's an excellent place in Wood Green Mall "market hall" (coming from the High Street, go past Primark, turn left once inside the market hall, then right, and it's towards the end of the building. Excellent service, and no questions asked.

DISCLAIMER: I don't know whether they are still there after the revamp of the shopping centre, and the riots. Wood Green mall was badly affected.

Am at Wimbledon ( I & S Locksmiths ) , the guy could not make the key with a blue dot, but could make the other one at GBP12.50 a pop, am waiting for 2 to be made ( 20 min wait time ).

Thanks all, once I get back, we will see how it goes testing them.

All done! Just need to test them. As I was in Wimbledon, I visited the grounds.

Both keys worked well! Thanks.

Glad to hear that

Thanks Marie for that useful information, a good locksmith at reasonable price

Thanks to Captain Obvious for this question and the photos.

By the way, there is also an open car boot market in Wimbledon on the weekends, only discovered it last year
