Hi! My cellphone login works fine but I can no longer login to this forum on my pc. It says „please wait before trying to log in again“ And I do but to no avail. Any tips?
Are you logged in while you try logging on the pc? Maybe the software doesn’t allow double-log in?

I sometimes triple log-in without issues.
Strange. That sounds like to many log in attempts were made in a short time which is unusual.
Could there be a background tab trying to load? Have you tried rebooting or clearing cookies?
It’s surprising just how often “switch it off and switch it back on again” (or a virtual version of it as you suggest) can work for that sort of problem.
But yeah, something funny going on there, almost certainly at the OP’s end. I just tried logging in from two, then three different browsers without any problem except for this draft reply being marked as being edited somewhere else.
I get this message very often!
And I log on here only from once device ever. It has made me wonder “who” could possibly edit my posts while I’m writing them. Hitting ignore lets the message disappear.
Did you try and deleted the SF cookies?

Definitely sounds like there’s another tab open somewhere.
EDIT: Should have been clearer - this was referring to the ‘draft is open in another window’ message, not the inability to log in.
just tried that with several tabs open = doesn’t seem to cause the problem.
I often have more than one SF tab open.
Simultaneously logging in with a different browser doesn’t produce the error either.

As Roxi mentioned, the cookies.
At least once a month the Forum fails for me. I just delete the cookies for swissforum.co.uk and it works again.
This is for chrome, if you have another web browser, search for “how to delete cache and cookies for a specific site in _____?”

my cookies are gone every time I shut the browser except for one website.
