Can we return scratched product to digitec within return window?

I have right now on my desk phone which I don’t want to use, but I’ve damaged it a little while trying, s* happens. Nothing really serious however it’s no longer like new, so I wonder if digitec would even want to accept it back with a discount. I was just looking through their web but can’t find anything about such case. I might just put it on FB :person_shrugging:

You can try their contact form, their response rate is pretty good, ie. about a day.
I only have experience returning opened new items.

Thanks, that’s what I did.

I would have returned it and said it came scratched :see_no_evil:

Nah, I’m saving karma for such tricks when bigger money is involved  It’s a rather cheap mid-range phone. I bought it to use as a backup hotspot, but the modem is slow even though it’s 5G.

Another option. In the digitec user account webpage, you have the option to “sell” the stuff you have bought from them.

Then, the list of all the products you have bought from them comes up and you have the option to sell.
AFAIK, you send the product to digitec, they inspect it and recommend a sales price. Sales process is handled by them.

Sometimes when you look for a new product, an ad about a used one at a lower price comes up. It’s this process.

I can’t sell it yet as it’s under the 30 day return window. The button doesn’t appear

I’ve already sold some used items via digitec. I haven’t sent them anything. They only manage the transaction, much like eBay. When you see used items on their web, there are two categories, USED + TESTED, these are products returned within 30 days, and USED which are products advertised by individuals (but then you can attach additional note, current pictures etc.)

I’ve got reply from them, they’re looking for options…

I seem to remember that when you initiate the return they ask about the status of the goods - but I don’t remember if it’s just “sealed and non” or if you can break down more.

It’s one of the WTF days, but I’m obviously happy with the outcome :joy:

I’ve described the issue and attached photos. They replied that I can return the product in this condition.I sent it back, but to my surprise I just realized that I got a full refund, not even 10% was charged.
