Might we one day be able to completely elimenate cancer?

i am optimistic…but I don’t think we’ll solve the puzzle. Too complex. AI will do it for us (probably one of the good things) - actually, it is already doing it. Yet, we have given only partial information, and potentially even biased… I was reading a couple of days ago about a 1970 research on usage of specific bacteria to ‘target’ apoptosis in cells of some type of cancers that is coming back in full swing - now the metabolic pathway can be better traced with biomarkers, and actually animal models have already proven extremely successful, with endpoints that dwarf even the current biological and ‘inmuno’ therapies. Now we will still have some 6 years for human clinical trials… by then, maybe AI can accelerate - even the trials, through simulation of outcomes…
I’m one of the lucky ones, 19 years remission in October.
