Car insurance - two quick questions

hi All,

I'd like to have your thoughts on these two items related to car insurance.

I was leasing a car which I am in the process of purchasing now so currently shopping for car insurance to start at the end of the lease period.

(i) I made 2 x claims for 2x scratches happened while the car was parked in outside blue parking, while i was leasing the car. Do I have to indicate these claims while I am requesting the insurance quote from comparis.com? I am thinking to put in them as "casco and damage while parked" as that looks like the one I need to choose for my case. The prices are not changing but still i'd prefer not to put these info in (as claims were during lease period) if not needed but still wanted to doublecheck.

(ii) what scope would you recommend for this car I am buying? it is a 3 years old, small segment SUV. I plan as below. what do you think?

- main scope: "full casco with collision, with deductible 500"

- supplementary: "damage while parked without limit" as I'll continue parking in blue zone.

thanks in advance

Basically insure what you cant afford.

However, in your case IMO continue with parking damage.

Also be sure to have coverage against Martins.

Up to ten years, full coverage is advisable. Especially with the price of a replacement these days.

Also if you depend on using the car daily, coverage for a rental while your rig is in the repair shop is also advisable.

3rd party only.
