Is it possible to rent a car in Switzerland by a foreigner guests using the international driving license?
As long as they also have their real licence with them, then of course they can.

I used my Irish liscense on many occasions to rent cars. Any international liscense should be accepted. Why dont you give the company a quick call?
Yes. The international driving license is just a translation of the national license. It is not valid on its own and has allways to be presented with the original license.
