I wanted to ask if someone ever had a carte de légitimation or légitimation card to work in Switzerland ? What are the conditions to obtain it as a non EU ? Can I obtain it if I have a linked B permit ? Or student B permit ? Thank youu

In order to be issued a carte de légitimation you need to work for either a) an International Organisation, b) a Permanent Mission or c) a quasi-governmental international organisation and any other international bodies. Family members of these persons get it too.
In this case, you’ll exchange your B permit for the appropriate carte de légitimation.
A tied B will eventually turn into an untied C. A CdL won’t, before retirement at least.
Important to note, you can't apply for citizenship with a CDL, unless you have held a C permit at the time of your engagement for that employer.

Did you continue to pay taxes/avs?
Yes, since the CDL I had was an unusual one, whereby I was still in the Swiss tax system.
But typically, CDL holders pay an "internal tax" to whatever organisation they are with, and are outside the AVS system.
When I have the citizenship ceremony, I must give back my current CDL and get a replacement CDL type S, which is for Swiss Citizens.
Death and taxes are two things you can count on. I have known a couple of people over the last three decades who ended up paying more after joining international organizations!
So the years on CDL do not count as part of the years to get a C permit ?
They do, but you can't have citizenship from a CDL.
You can only apply as the holder of a C Permit.
And a tied B can be turned to a CDL or does it need to be open ? I can’t find anywhere precise informations about that, maybe need to ask the canton ?
You‘d need to be hired first by one of the organizations mentioned above. After that tied/untied is irrelevant I would think.
If you get hired by an international organisation they will sort out your CdL. There is nothing to convert, your tied B will expire and you start from zero with the CDL.
