Can someone help me find a Catholic church and mass schedule in Zurich. It does not have to be in English.
Thanks
If you see a church, there is a 50% chance that it will be catholic. Churches are plentifull and most have towers so they are hard to miss. Mass schedules are usually posted on the door. Common times are 11.00 and 16.00.
Oh, and have you tried Google :-)
www.kath.ch or go to your gemeinde's website (
www.yourgemeinde.ch )
Speaking of church towers and denominations: Protestant churches have a cock on top of the tower and these with a cross on top are most likely catholic churches.
Well I didn't know that Nathu. Another thing for me to look out for (and stun friends and family with) Cheers
St. Pete and Paul, right near Stauffacher (actually one stop (Werd) towards Triemli/Heuried on the 14/9 tram).
Oldest "modern era" Catholic church in Zurich (something to do with the Reformation and the Pope's Fifth Column):

I hope your devotion exceeds your efforts in searching.

Thahks for the information.
Thanks for the information.
There are English Catholic masses in Zürich. I've been to one but it's been a couple of years. I remember they had a very nice coffee hour afterwards with delicious cakes and cookies.
Here's one English mass website with directions and other info. http://www.englishmission.ch/Home.html
The painting doesn't depict what you said. You can buy the arts brochure in the secretary if you want exact answers:
Die katholische Pfarrkirche St. Anton in Zürich
Hanspeter Rebsamen. 1. Auflage 2005. Nr. 786. 36 S. CHF 9.–
Glad to hear you could suppress your urge for vigilantism in a listed building.
recommend the English Speaking Catholic Mission at St Anton's on Minervastrasse.
www.englishmission.ch , mass on Saturdays at 6pm and Sundays at 11.15am
Lovely Scottish priest and nice community.
There is also a Spanish mission, but I'm not sure where/how that is. Try google
I will go to that hot burny place with the chap with the fork for the thought I just had on your post, Nathu...
Made me smile over my coffee, though.
Ehm... I blame the online dictionary. (Amen)
