CERN ships antimatter for the first time

We tried to deliver your anti-protons but nobody was home so we left them on the porch.

While many US voters don’t believe in science or dinosaurs

The outlook for us is not good with huge gaps between educated and not, rich and poor, and don’t get me started on religion

The problem with anti-matter shipments is how to check the goods on arrival, or it could be a quantum delivery - maybe it hasn’t left the depot yet. No big deal, a quantum computer will sort it out.

Reminds me of my favourite children’s book, which my mother gave me age 6. Frederick Winsor’s ‘The Space Child’s Mother Goose’:

This is the way the Physicist rides:
A quantum, a quantum, a quantum.

This is the way the Agronomist rides:
I plant ‘em, I plant ‘em, I plant ‘em.

This is the way the Philosopher rides:
O Plato! O Plato! O Plato!

This is the way the Rocketman rides:
JATO! JATO!! JATO!!!

Western science is anyhow fully ignorant.

Isn’t that doesn’t-matter rather than anti-matter?

Quick, someone call Robert Langdon

I remember reading that book a while before Pope JP 2nd died.

And when he died, it played out exactly like it was described in the book. That made both the book and the actual event even more fascinating.
