Dear EF! I know you know everything
My funny honey left the charger from his laptop (HP Elite Book 2540 P) in the last business trip (he comes back there soon) But now for several days he badly needs his PC (documents, outlook, God knows what else..) and plays on my nerve.
Is there any escape from this situation except immediate buying a new charger?

I have a charger for an ( currently ) unused laptop HP EliteBook 8530W that might work and can drop it off on loan at Lausanne gare if you wish.

You are most probably right and its not that big expense. He tries to find out from HP whether it is sold somewhere in the area.
At the same time he is working today and these phone calls take a huge amount of time.
you could find it probably with digitec.ch online. They're in Lausanne as well as Zürich.
