Migros Sport has got thermal clothes. You can find it in Migros City at Loewenstrasse or Ochsner Sport at the Bhnhofstrasse has also got special winter clothes.
Lastly, don ́t forget Brockis, second hand shops, where you might have to sift through a lot of trash, but you can sometimes get cool or useful things for cheap. Good luck getting through this time.
Take a day trip on the train to Konstanz in Germany.
This is a (beautiful) university town with plenty of opportunities for bargain hunting.
If you buy less than the import limit (300CHF? please check) you'll get any tax (21%) back at the train station on your way home.
Happy shopping!
Harry
BTW: What size(s) are you? Mrs B has plenty of nice, quality, new, nearly new stuff she never wears. Maybe we can help.
If you want to go a bit futher there are a couple of outlets next to IKEA in Dietlikon, like Globus, Shield, Companys. I like Globus outlet most, many times you ca get nice t-shirts, trousers, etc. for approx. 9fr. (normally most clothes are on 50%, 70% during sales season.) Companys has usually everything on 50% and during the sales season everything is 75%.
I don't like Navyboot quality (I don't get how fairly expensive shoes can be so uncomfortable), but there is also their outlet nearby and sometimes shoes for around even 30-40frs.
Also, look for brockenhaus or brocki. They are the cheap second hand shops. Stores that call themselves 'second hand' are usually only designer clothes that are still very expensive.
A good thrift store is Brocki-land. It's in an old parking garage, and pretty much everything there is 3CHF. It's a bit harder to find clothes there, since they organize it by color instead of style, but it is cheap.
