Needs to be redeemed by 30 April 2025 and you can set a start date up until 30 June. First come first serve, I will PM the code to whoever is interested.
that’s relatively easy to check, as you have all of your ‘trips’ stored in the portal. Worth also the ‘halbtax PLUS’ (pity they don’t accept it in international trips). But there is where you really need to make your numbers! if you don’t deplete the credit in 12 months, you lose FULLY the 20% discount…
btw, i got myself a ZRH - VIE - ZRH yesterday on the flashy new OBB nightjet trains…those ones where you cannot even sit down on your bee-cell - you can just lie and try to sleep…
I am already missing the old Hungarian ones, with the wooly blankets and lively chats
But, at 600 CHF+ the return ticket with my friends from Swiss, I rather beat my old bones for 10 h…
Its still risk free in the sense that whatever you buy you get back if it isn’t used, you just don’t get the 20% discount. I could probably save a little money by buying one instead of a GA, but I’m just too lazy to book trips weeks in advance to get Supersaver rates.
yep, it does! particularly the mini-cabins. I was in HB today, and I saw that the nightjet that goes to Budapest still has the historical old cars
this was the announcement of the ultra modern OBB ones… Nightjet of the new generation - Nightjet
There was a campaign from Interdiscount in the end of 2024, when a new customer could buy Half Fare for 95 CHF.
Otherwise, the cheapest Half Fare for the new customers is 152 CHF, but you need a Supercard and have to be a member of Hello Family Club. The next cheapest option is 157 CHF, if you get a trial Half Fare for 33 CHF for 2 months first, and then get a 33 CHF discount for the yearly abo.
if you sacrifice your first born it’s 110 franks and if you sacrifice your neighbour’s firstborn it’s 130?
The following year, does your second born count as first born?
That’s not bad considering inflation. I can only go by the UK which is what I know but in the 80s a Mars bar was 15p compared to 80p today (and its shrunk in size).
