CHF 650 per month car allowance

I think 650 per month for a car and 100k per year is pathetic and I think you should tell them to stick their job where the sun don`t shine! Hope it helps

Oh dear.

It gets worse.

Oh hang on - signs of improvement.

Yay! Welcome to the forums and Switzerland!

Also depends on who it is leased by - and also how much the balloon payment is.

I have higher monthly payments to have a lower final payment. If the event I want to exit the lease I am unlikely to ever have negative equity.

We may even get him scrapping that awful txt talk. I should have red... (<---- for read) please, stop that.

Though if the car is being leased for work purposes and with company funds, the OP may not actually be interested in ever owning the vehicle.

Don ́t know, insurance included, all services, repairs and petrol?

I do not have idea about how leasing works...but I just have got a A3 with all the extras I choose from my company and I know I have a maximum of 160CHF per month for LEASING.

Until I recieved the car I was getting 1000CHF monthly as a car allowance.

You can get a fully loaded Mini Cooper. What more could you possibly want?

We bought outright my fully loaded Mini Cooper for around CHF600 a month. Then when I sold it we got around CHF300 a month back.

ETA: sorry to clarify, I should say we leased to CHF0 residual value as the lease interest rate was better than the loan rate. Also when I say we got CHF300 back when we sold I mean the payment we got for selling divided by the months of the lease it was a bit more than CHF300 per month. So it cost us about CHF300 a month in the end. (whew!)

I know that my husband has a lease for company car paying CHF550, Audi A4 and I think the lease is for 3 years. We've had company cars for many years and we do like the idea of not paying for any servicing, maintenance, insurance, road tax, petrol....just a bit of extra tax I suppose, but no stress. I don't think I would ever buy my own car for the cost reasons quoted, particularly in CH. We have also a vintage sports car but that's a differen category, that is actually adding value year by year!

I wouldn't sign any car lease that required me to pay for a balloon too.

(The license and storage costs alone would more than offset any presumed savings.)

Then go the mobility route,
