Does anyone use a Chicco pushchair – the lightweight one (don’t know the product name)? How on earth do you fit the rain cover? There are two Velcro loops at one end which I guessed fitted on the handlebar shafts.
Then, at the other end there are two sets of Velcro pads which seem to fix the thing around the foot area.
Then there is a jumble of seams, none of which seem to correspond with the lines of the push chair.
I know I have the right cover for the right pushchair but I can’t for the life of me work out how it goes.
The little fella’s feet get soaked because he manages to dislodge the dodgy fastening within about 10 seconds.
I’ve tried Googling “ Chicco rain cover fitting ” and derivatives thereof but end up with a zillion hits on Ebay of people selling theirs. Maybe that’s a sign...
Could you contact the company directly or take the pushchair and cover to a department store that sells prams and ask for a demo? Alternatively, buy your child a pair of welly's to keep his feet dry
I've got a lightweight chicco buggy (I think it's a chicco xplorer stroller). It has a sunshade that can either be over my daughter's head or pulled back so it hangs down the back. When I put the raincover on I have the shade over my daughter's head and then fasten the cover using the velcro squares around the handlebars and then the velcro loops down the bottom near her feet. Most of the time I don't worry about fitting it down near her feet unless it's pretty windy. Her feet tend to poke out anyway.
It's not a particularly well fitting raincover. I basically just shake it out (it lives scrunched up in the basket when not in use), work out which way is up and throw it over the buggy.
Hope that helps! You can find a picture of my buggy on argos.co.uk,

@tildaoz: So, I had the cover upside down. Thanks for the tip - I'll have a go when I get home.
@Zugbound: wanted to avoid a Saturday trip into town with all that pushchair-congestion in town. Wellies idea is good, though. Particularly like the Migros Budget wellies - how cool are they??
Ahhhh, the Migros budget range. There's nothing like advertising the fact that you are a pov. it would be like wearing Tesco basics or Sainsburys no frills
No no, I think the Budget range is great. Over christmas I saw a budget grocery hamper for sale, with a whole lot of budget things all presented in a nice basket with ribbons, and I also remember seeing an ad for a budget bikini (a joke, I think!). A friend of mine has a budget satchel. Classic!
Pov and peeved. Still, it's pay day. Goodbye budget range and hello London store
