Child passport renewal

Hi everyone,

Just wanted some advice please.

We applied online on feb 9th for the children‘s passport renewals (British), and it took untill the 21st Feb for them to start the processing . It’s been 5 weeks - on monday......

Does anyone know anybody else who is still waiting or has recently applied?

It’s always been really efficient but due to COVID it’s slow.

I applied for a renewal of a child's UK passport in the middle of January, it took them a while to get the process started, but once it did, it was quite quick.

I had the new one within 6 weeks of starting the application.
