I'm relocating to Bern from Australia with my family. I have a 2 year old daughter and we want to send her to childcare centre.
Is there a ranking system or any quality standard from top to bottom on childcare applied in Switzerland?
As much as I’m keen for her to learn German I’m looking for a Center that communicates both in English and German as it will be easier for her to settle in because she only speaks and understands English.
Please let me know if you have any experience childcare centres in Bern.

You won't have a huge choice in Bern with English.
Look for "bilingual kita". Kita is short for Kindertagesstätte.
But a two year old will learn the language very quickly.
There is no ranking. What you could look for or ask is if the Kita is a member of Kibe. Kibe is the national association for Kindertagesstätten (Kibe is short for Kinderbetreuung).
There seems to be (from a search, no personal experience) also a Montessori child care. They have to follow specific Monetessori rules. You might like that or not. But they have to follow certain rules in order to be able to call themselves Montessori creche
