Closing UBS Bank account - leaving switzerland

Hi all ,

I left Switzerland a couple of years ago , Im EU resident , moved back to Madrid. Until now I was keeping my bank account with UBS opened , as a "client domiciled abroad" , they were charging me 10 chf . Now , after the 2nd year they are charging 40 chf per months...so Im thinking to close already the accounts ( I have one in CHF and another one in €) .

Anyone had the same experience?

Does anyone knows how is the process to close the bank account and the UBS fees?

Thanks in advance¡¡

If you can still go online, do that and contact your account manager.

If not, send a registered letter with your instructions.

Do you know the address to send the registered letter?

Thank you

The address of you bank.........

I thought it might of been a specific branch, but thank you.

I've been advised by UBS Nyon last week that you need to have 50,000 chf in the account for it to be free of charge when you are living abroad.

Not sure if this applies for all UBS branches or not.

The one where your account is based, would be a start.....

Do you know if that applies to everyone or just EU?
