A friend of mine is a recent arrival to CH and wants to get this card... I cannot find many important details on the web site (and my Deutsch frankly sucks), so I thought I'll ask if there are any happy users here...
I have the card. Its a no frills credit card. You get one COOP Supercard point for every franc spent at COOP (in addition to what you get with your card) Then you get 1 point for every 3 francs you spend anywhere else. The rewards program is not the best, but the best if you want rewards. I would recommend you get the SBB credit card because it saves you 25 chf on your halbtax which is probably more than what you might get in a year from coop.
Yes. Having said this we have two different Credit Cards and we only use the Coop Supercard Plus in Switzerland or for online shopping. Because of the higher charges we never use the Coop Supercard Plus abroad or for cash withdrawals.
I have one and it works fine. No annual fee and occasionally at Coop City I can pay with points. Minor drawback is no online statements / latest transactions , but maybe I just didn't try hard enough to find them.
I looked as well and no there is no online feature. I forgot about this as it can be a pain to not know how much you have on the card until you get the bill
We have one and it has been perfectly satisfactory for the past couple of years - if I need to find out the balance before the statement is out I just phone them up and ask. Not cashed in any points yet though
I don't think I've ever seen a statement /( maybe mrs. g has ) but every so often when we are in the Coop the cashier will ask us " do yu want to use points to purchase so and so"
one time they asked me if I wanted to apply points for a bottle of Absolut
I got to know that if you give your coopsupercard at checkout (for the points) and then pay the bill with your supercardplus mastercard you still only get 1 point per frank. I dont know how true is this as a collegue of mine told me.
So isnt it better at coop to give supercard and them pay with Migros credit card so that you earn points with them both?
I have one and yes it is online via swisscards services. I also have the Transact app installed that works with it for online payments. The online access is free as where you receive paper statements you will pay for those.
