Collard greens (Blattkohl) anywhere?

Has anyone seen collard greens sold anywhere in Zurich? Thanks

Oh I miss collards. I used to live in North Carolina and it is a popular veggie. Slow cook them with some smoked hammocks and that is some real good eating.

got them here in lausanne the other day at the market. don't remember what they were called (it'll be in french anyway) but i'll pay attention next time. Also, i picked up okra! at the local asian market if you are missing that too. yum

They had them on Neuchâtel market yesterday too. They're almost identical to what we referred to as spring cabbage when I was a kid and are called feuilles de chou vert here.

At this time of year you should find some at the vegetable street markets.

Search for 'kale' in this forum.

Thanks for answers. The street market close to me does not have but maybe some bigger ones do have.

I do not want kale, it is useless for what I need

I've got seeds (from the US).

Tom

You may have to go to the markets at either Helvetiaplatz or Oerlikon and look out for Italian People and discuss it with them directly. Mum, when we were on Holidays in the Toscana, often purchased stuff in either the Toscana or the Emilia-Romagna
