My dog is vaccinated for rabies, and has a pet passport and vaccine book. If I want to travel to the UK via Eurotunnel next week, all I need is for her to have a tapeworm tablet from the vet between 1 and 5 days before the trip, right?
There's mention of a "fit to travel signature" being needed in multiple threads (recent ones too) but my Swiss vet seemed confused by this when asked. If it's necessary, where do I find the document that must be signed?
These are the steps I find on google which make no mention of a signature:
Check if you can bring your pet
,
Get your pet microchipped
,
Get your pet vaccinated against rabies
,
Get tapeworm treatment
,
Get a pet travel document
I just want this to go smoothly
