Rule of thumb: 1 point = 1 rappen, to be spend on almost everything in all stores that support the card.
We save up till we have 10.000 each time and then get a giftcard of 100,- and treat ourselves on an extra BBQ, points can add up quickly if you use the supercard every time in al the dozens of chains that support the supercard and look for your coupons in the mail, in their folders and extra actions on the supercard.cd website (I am almost at the point of getting my 6 cinema tickets for free )
Sell on tutti or anibis for hard cold cash. They are worth a bit more than 1:100, (i personally sold at 1.10), especially in 20k chunks - bank coop demands that much before you get a competitive mortgage deal from them
Huh to what? Bank coop? I know it's ridiculous that they force customers to jump through this shit for only ~200 fr. Never liked that bank anyway, and they didn't like my passport too, so it's mutual
Yep, I sold a whole lot once (well actually the ones my ex collected on the card that somehow stayed with me ). The buyer said something about flying miles, don't remember.
For some reason I still hand over that card when I shop at coop (creatures of habits?) but I only exchange them, when the cashier says I can pay my meat ... my wine .... what ever ist is that day ..... with your points.
And yes, at coop city they always seem to say that, no matter what I buy.
If you have the Supercard app on your phone, the best thing to do is to convert them to the gift card, that way they are safer than if you just have them on the card.
I transfer them to the gift card on my phone as soon as I have 1'000.
If you lose the card and someone finds it, they can use the points to buy something, then your points would be lost. This happened to a friend of a friend. Before she realised that she had lost the card and was able to block it, the person who found it had spent the more than 6'000 points (60 francs worth) in Coop...
That's exactly the gift card which has been suggested/discussed above. I find it a really good system. It's also quicker than the Migros system of having to wait for the vouchers to come through.
