Corporate Liability Insurance for Sole Trader / Propreitor / Independent

Hi all,

Now that i've registered as an independent, do I need to take a separate insurance for civil liability, or is it covered by the the one I already have for myself (individual + family members).

If yes, is this mandatory, or optional?

Speak to your insurers, you probably told them you were an employee when you signed up.
