There is one in Morges, like Sky says, and another one around Geneva, methinks.
Let's be clear, the "jump" over from the Romandie to Zürich includes some risks. But their leaflets gave me the impression that the Aligro-Schlieren top-brass consists of former COOP and Migros executives, who of course know the marketplace here, and its peculiarities.
With the S-Bahn, you are in their place very swiftly.
An hours drive from Schlieren ? You live in Lachen/SZ or in Rapperswil or in Feuerthalen ?
Do they also sell Bio produce?
What is the difference between the Business and Gourmet Card?
I think so. I would guess the difference in the cards is that Business card holders will get the discount prices any day of the week, while Gourmand is restricted to Fridays and Saturdays with a minimum spend of CHF100 iirc.
Landi would be more likely to have cheap TVs, etc.
Some of their prices just can't be beat. On our last visit we got a kilo of almonds for 10 francs, ridiculous.
A shed load of UK ales & international beers including IPA standard & pale, Fullers London Pride & Black Cab, Witchwood Hobgoblin, Singha, Tiger, Icnusa, Sapporo, Brooklyn to name a few & all at around 30 - 40 chf for 24 bottles.
Also a huge wine & spirits section with some super choices & I reckon an average of a good 3-5 francs per bottle cheaper than Coop on most stuff.
(Noted: Oban at 48chf & Hendricks at 36 chf)
New fan here
Prices in general are so so, but I haven't seen a selection like that since I was, oh, in another country!
The information desk told me membership is not mandatory, but is required to profit from special offers. When shopping Friday or Saturday, special offers (red shelf-edge labels) only kick in once you've spent 100 CHF or more.
As for price, yesterday I cooked up some brisket/flank from Aligro and I checked the price: 14CHF a kilo and it was very good.
