watch this video and decide for yourself
I genuinely have no idea where to begin with that.
Good quote though - sort of buried. Maybe it should have been in the headline
You know, some of the things that the Daily Mail prints are actually in other, more reputable papers as well, such as this item. To immediately dismiss something because it has been printed in the Daily Mail limits the new information you can learn. Like this. The researchers in the video are both from Oxford University and the Byrd Alzeihmer's Institute, which is known and respected world wide.
And, if this were a medicament, it would be good enough to qualify as a good treatment... which don't exist for Alzheimer's, except for one, which is only considered mildly effective for up to a year...
Watch the video. s
By the way, the first person in the video is an MD who gave this as a treatment to her husband and they have proof of his improvement in his test scores.
Then, they talk to Oxford scientists who are searching for a way to concentrate the ketones from coconut oil to make it even more effective in the form of ketone esters. So, they really do believe that ketones, which can be obtained by eating coconut oil, improves patients with Alzeheimer's. But then, you would have had that straight from the horse's mouth if you had watched the video.
Plus, the video chains to another where they interview people with Parkinson's and ALS who have greatly improved with coconut oil.
This is very similar to what happens when people follow the Adkins' diet, which is recommended for people with multiple sclerosis and has been shown to really improve that neurological condition in many patients. So, ketones seem to improve many neurological conditions in many people.
Wonderful, but is there any objective, empirical evidence? Or is it all anecdotal?
