I've already spent some money on some sub-par products, and I was wondering if any curly haired ladies could help me find a deep conditioner that they have had luck with, hopefully that can be acquired at coop city, douglas or the like, and isn't outrageously expensive (but I'm willing to spend something, I just can't stand spending 20+chf on a product that doesn't even work!)
Some details:
-I have very fine hair
-I'm caucasion
-3b curls
-I wash+condition 1-2 times per week
In the US I used to use various shea naturals conditioners, and I loooved them, but I won't be back there for months, and I'd like to find something similar.
Suggestions for places to shop for products in Zurich are also welcome!
Tbh I buy a huuuge amount of products whenever I go back home to the UK and rarely buy here so I'm not a lot of use here but ah well.
Anyway, one thing I bought here which made my hair look nice and shiny was Garnier Wahre Schätze Mythische Olive. Howwwever, if you don't use silicones like me, then it's a no go. I didn't read the label and currently have a tub of it sitting at home (if you are in St. Gallen anytime you can have it haha) I think that might be at some Coop, I got mine from Müller (I think there is a few Müllers in Zurich, I highly recommend it, much cheaper and has a wider range of products).
You have to be accepted and it's not very active but it's a good place to ask questions and get some information.
Hope I could help!
Also just an extra point, you can get some products online. I bought Burt's Bees Pomegranate Conditioner in England and fell in love (it's available in Migros but it's soooo expensive), and found it on Amazon along with a lot of my favourite products. Also Asos even has a good hair section
Products recommended by the curly girls Swiss fb group included Syoss silicon-free repair & fullness Conditioner and Schauma Frucht & Vitamin Spülung für normales Haar ohne Silikone 250ml.
They also mentioned meinelocken.ch but I've never used it.
Both are great for curly hair. If you follow with Kerastase Keratine Thermique (liquid, not spray) when drying your hair, it makes curls bouncy and if you straighten, it keeps hair straight & frizz-free all day.
I've seen the Organix stuff in Manor & Globus. Kerastase products, you can buy from hairdresser stockists (Kerastase has a stockist finder online).
Budget-minded 3a here. I looove John Frieda's Traumlocken conditioner. It's about 12.- per 250mL tube, which I find good value to make my hair feel like a miracle - from frizzy and dry to light and bouncy and so, so soft. You can find it at Coop City and they even sell it in travel-size.
