Customs at Bad Bahnhof

I will be coming into CH from Germany.

Normally I drive/fly in but this time I will take a train.

The train will come in at Bad Bahnhof and the train may be quite late.

Incase I need to declare something at the Zoll, how can I do that?

Has anyone used the Quickzoll App and how well does it work?

It works fine. There are also envelopes and forms available that you can just fill in and put in the box.

The QuickZoll app is pretty simple and nearly all questions are answered here:

One draw back: If you use QuickZoll all is taxed with 7.7% VAT. If you have a lot of 2.5% goods you might wish to use the paper declaration on site.

The Zoll in Bad Bahnhof is like a small kiosk on the side of the passage from the tracks, never saw anybody stop there and it was often not manned.

Safest is probably to use the app.

Maybe the APP is the best approach.

The paper form is equally safe. Just use whichever is most convenient.
