Deducting French language lessons while living in a German-speaking canton

Hi! I’ve recently moved from a French- to a German-speaking canton. I’d like to continue my French language courses with a tutor as I think it’s still a useful language to be learning. While living in the French-speaking part I was deducting the lessons as a part of self-development costs. Would it raise questions in a German-speaking canton if I do the same or all official languages are fine with regards to deductions? Thanks

Not sure if you can try to claim you need it for work.

I take it you already speak German perfectly?

My German is basic =) I am learning it too but on my own for now
