http://www.greenfieldfestival.ch/intro/index.php

Yeah, have my tix for this already. I love the manics. james dean bradfield is the most underrated guitar player on the planet.

are you off to greenfield?

anyone else?

Yeah. Puccini is pretty fab. I proposed to my soon to be wife at the New York Met's production of Turandot.

Just found out about it today so need to see if we can get a dog sitter first

ouch.

guess you could ask if someone on here wants some pet therapy for a weekend. unless of course your dog like the pumpkins, the manics and the killers.......

good luck with it

I've always got time for Classical music....just didn't think about it till i read your post

The Intermezzo from Mascagni's Cavalleria Rustincana does it for me.

And then I started to think about soundtracks and realised I had left no place for the bit of John Barry music that was played during that bit in Walkabout when Jenny Agguter was swimming in the lagoon. For some reason I'd never noticed how beautiful that music was in all the times I'd watched the films. I think my mind must have been on other things . But since I heard it played over the radio I've since been unable to ever keep it out of my mind for long. For me it now ranks as one of the greatest ever marriages of sound and vision that has ever been.

haven't watched this in an age ... enjoy

What a waste man! It's desert Island with surely a traditional palm tree. Doing a Baloo back rub, as seen in The Jungle book, will surely alleviate the need to use up such a valuable selection with a backscratcher.

That is, unless the type of backscratcher you have in mind takes the form 36-23-34 and looks not unlike Catherine Zeta Jones

Blimey, I wouldn't use that luxury item to scratch my back!

Course you would! It's just that you'd have a few other uses for it as well
