Anyone recently used autoscout and care to share their experience, good or bad?
Sold after 3 weeks, but I had a lot freaks & tyre kickers to deal with.
Quite a few Swiss did seem overly obsessed by having perfect body work though - even on an old car.
I'd declared & pictured in the ad, a small wheel arch dent and a couple of other marks etc, & said it's a well used 1998 car. People still tutted & beard scratched about it.
I even had one guy come to see the car who didn't even want to drive it, & even though told him on the phone that I wouldn't knock off 1k for a small dent on a wheel arch of a 1998 car, he kept pestering us about the bloody dent until my wife had to tell him quite abruptly to bugger off.
A few years ago we sold one car on Autoscout, got the full asking price. Tried to sell another one more recently, no luck, even with extended warranty adn low mileage, we ended up selling it to the dealer. It really depends on what make and model of car you are trying to sell, if there are many of the same type for sale on Autoscout it is much harder.

I have a car for sale on Autoscout and the other day I received a message from the autoscout message system that someone was interested. I wrote back to the "guy" who wrote me and a few days later I received this mail (go get a coffee before reading....it is long).

Based on the suffering we undergo here some of us do meet such luck, It happened that i was part of this raid with the men in my unit and got a share of this loot for my suffering as a soldier here in this evil land filled with suicide bombers.
This may sound a little bit odd to you, but i can say it again and again that this is not even enough to compensate us for our sufferings here, we have lost countless of Man and Woman as result of this war, who will be sadly missed.
Anyway i deposited this money in safe box with a Red Cross agent informing him that we are making contact for the real owner of the box. It is under my power to approve whoever comes forth for this claim.
I wish to use this money for charity purposes in Turkey , where we have high number of refugees and Sudan where we have currently the highest numbers of refugees displaced as a result of war. You need to visit such places, i am not forgetting the displaced in India.
I want to invest the money on stock fish from Norway to this refugees because based on my experience on battle ground in this places, they lack a lot of fish and meat to add to their meager and unpalatable meals which they get in little quantity just to keep them living until God knows when the problem ends. Instead of allowing this terrorist to get the money and spend it on purchasing arms illegally from Russia and China it is better channeled to saving the world.
I cannot move this money to the United States because i will be in Europe for about three years, so i need someone i can trust to move the fund to Europe in his name where he will claim it as the beneficiary because i am a uniformed personnel and i cannot be parading such an amount.
As an American and a Specialist officer, i have a 100% authentic means of moving the funds out through Diplomatic means. All i just need is your acceptance for this to be done.
