Apparently Mr. Musk has decided to allow, he who shall not be named, back on Twitter.
Pushed me to finally delete** my seldom used account, or at least to attempt to. I suspect they are being overwhelmed by similar requests as I was told to go away and try later.
*Larry is the name of the Twitter bird.
** You can’t actual delete your account. You can only deactivate it and after 30 days they say they will delete it.
They are both idiots, but there were far worse people on Twitter than the Donald. And, to be honest, banning him was rather arbitrary given who else has been allowed to remain.
That being said, apart from a few sensible,grounded professional colleagues with whom I have great interactions, the rest of Twitter is a cesspit, and I am seriously weighing up whether my positive interactions are enough to make up for the garbage. The sound to noise ratio is really extremely low...

Trump now has to choose between the two biggest loves in his life; money or publicity.
If Truth Social is a success then he will make at least $400 million cash, if he uses Twitter then likely Truth Social will collapse and he will earn nothing.
Trump's money would come from a merger with Digital World Acquisition Corp. whose shares are currently $21 from a high of $97.
Despite no tweets in nearly 2 years and his followers being reset during the suspension, he has (after 1 day) more followers than Joe Bidens personal account and the POTUS account.... combined!
I think if he will have a serious run at the presidency, he will be back.
As it is it TS has kind of become obsolete in the last few weeks anyways

Conservatives on Twitter watching left wing folk saying they’re leaving to go somewhere else having gone through Gab, Parler, Gettr, Truth Social.
Of course they’ll all come back (along with everyone else claiming they’re leaving for good) when they realise there’s simply no other platform that matches Twitter’s reach for getting clicks and sharing. This is where Elon Musk recognised Twitter’s value not only as the de facto town square but also the very nature of the platform, helped largely by being the first of its kind.
