[QUOTE=Susan57;1993134] If the bed was designed for the mattress and you flipped it then it's definitely faulty and you are totally correct to expect it to be repaired or replaced. The mattress store owner I knew was actually in the USA.
I bought a second hand IKEA mattress, ( believe firstly bought in 2005) recently and my partner and me both love it. one of the most comfortable mattress we have been on for the whole time!!
The Schramm representative has followed up on our complaint. He brought two inserts, which have been placed below the mattress, on the two sides. This has lifted the problem areas and evened out the sleeping surface.
It seems to have solved the problem, and I no longer feel a little hill between me and my husband.
Most impressive, this effort from Schramm came from them, without our insistence. We appreciate their effort.
Strange with a garantee they should of replaced them with two new ones.. they got off cheap. Think I would consider not recommending them to anyone else.
IsabellainZug, I finally took your advice, went to IKEA at 18:00 LAST NIGHT to place an order for their top of the line BOX SPRING mattress, with pillow top. They delivered it to us THIS MORNING at 8:00! WOW, that was fast!
They have a 90 day guarantee, so I can take it back if we are not satisfied.
This one is not supposed to be made with chemicals and does not smell artificial.
First impression is very good. Shall report again tomorrow. 🦋🦋🦋
