Apple TV all set up now, D+ and the free years subscription to TV+ ..
Kids spent half of yesterday in the tent watching D+, now continuing on the TV..

What is Apple TV+ like? I have a 6 months free for it but didn't bother. Feel like there are too many streaming services
I only set it up this morning, free one year trial after purchase of the hardware..
But it looks great.. Just on the first page, the Harley Quinn, birds of prey movie, Trolls world tour, sonic the hedgehog.. All of these are brand new I think.. Tons of originals ..
I'm not a big consumer of TV / movies so not best to advise.. but certainly looks very good.
Edit .. Just to clarify, now that we clicked around Apple TV+ a bit.. The movies are to BUY .. They are not included as in, like Netflix or Disney+ ..
Seems to be just the apple originals that are included without paying more.
That's a shame. Thought it was weird that Disney+ and appleTV+ existed together as both companies have historically had such close ties

this just shows the ridiculous naming convention that Apple use. Films and movies are available for purchase through itunes on an Apple tv box and other Apple devices. The Apple tv+ service is an original content only service with no films/tv series that have not been commissioned by Apple. That means it is a relatively small library of content. It is accessible on an Apple device by clicking the Apple tv+ icon. Apple decided to kick start this service by offering it free for 1 year to anyone who bought an Apple device. Even with this offer it seems Apple have found it difficult to convert Apple device purchasers into Apple tv+ viewers and have not really had a breakout series.
Disney plus is a repository for all the family safe tv and movies from the Disney owned studios such as Marvel, Pixel, Lucas films(Star Wars) and Disney itself. Besides having a large back catalogue they are also creating new content such as the mandalorian etc. New Marvel series that will feed into the movies are also planned.
Disney plus is more expensive but has a much larger catalogue.
In the USA Disney content such as Deadpool and Logan is meant to go to Hulu, which is also owned by Disney but I have not heard of any plans to roll out Hulu to Europe.
The lack of more adult content is the big downside of Disney plus.
I hope this helps to clear up the confusion about the services. Also both Apple tv+ and available form Smart tvs, roku sticks, amazon fire tv and some Android tv devices. Android devices support Disney plus and both and both android and ios devices support Apple tv+

A lot of the DC and Hulu content seems to end up on Prime's Starzplay channel.
i just bought 1 year subscription to Disney+ but now I realized that the app is not listed in the apps list in PS4 Pro. anyone has an idea?
TV is a Samsung fron 2016 and it's missing the Disney+ app also.
I don't have a PS4, but according to this article it should be available ...
