Do-It-Yourself Garages

Hello all,

New to Switzerland, and I have run across discussions about do-it-yourself garages that hire/rent space, lifts, etc for you to do your own work on your vehicle. I am in the Vaud area. Does anyone know of any of these garages in the Vaud canton?

Don ́t know about Vaud, but some years back I was looking in SG and BS and BL and came up dry, seems CHians don ́t do car DIY too well.

There was one in Crissier but it looks like it went bust, it's still all over the search results though. I'm sure there are others but harder to find, one is https://www.carrosseriegaragerv.com/ which seems to rent out space for CHF 20 per hour.

For Basel there's a Selbstschraubermietwerkstatt near Bauhaus in Loerrach.

That ́s the one I went to in the end, but you have to go to Germany for that.
