I do hope they broke the woke and make some really good Dr. Who.
I went off it when David Tennant was playing Dr Who, but came back into it with Matt Smith. Since then I haven’t watched it, but last year I went to a Dr Who exhibition in Edinburgh which was brilliant. My favourite Dr as a child was Patrick Troughton, not quite old enough to remember William Hartnell.
I once went to the savoy Theatre in London for a show, Jon Pertwee walked into the bar with his wife and son and was refused a drink as the house were taking their seats and the show was about to start. He went off on a rant to the bar staff with “do you know who I am”. A former colleague of mine used to work in C and A at Oxford Street in the 70s, she told me Pertwee bought his trousers in the sales there and demanded to have them delivered

What’s this got to do with Dr Who?
By the way, has anybody watched the new spinoff, War between land and sea.
Watched it on the BBC when it was first broadcast, New Year I think rather than the more traditional Christmas showing.
Enjoyed it but thought the ending rather weak and slightly rushed.
