Does Swissport answer emails?

Unfortunately left an electronic device on a SWISS plane earlier this week, and we’re pretty sure we have a match to one of the found objects. Sent an email Thursday evening, but no response so far.

And it’s no longer showing up in the found devices, but it was off the plane and inside one of the buildings at Zurich.

We’re going to just show up tomorrow and hope we have a match.

Sure would have liked an answer from them, but I’m doubtful that calling them (at > 1 CHF a minute) will be more useful.

At least the weather should be nice in the afternoon.

Did you mail to Mr. Helfenberger [email protected]
amongst other things they do lost&found matters.

I’m sure they would prefer you calling for Fr. 1.00 a minute, at least they’d get something out of it too.

Sent the email to [email protected] according to their instructions.

Probably makes sense to suck up the cost - a 5 minute phone call could make a big difference.

Check the opening hours and locations first. The map is quite useful.

Perhaps sending them this might help.

We decided to stop by. There was one person at the lost and found window and we were the only ones waiting.

The one we thought it was, was not it. It wasn’t among the dozens of tablets in the drawer of the stuff found on that date. But it was in the stack of tablets (approximately another dozen) that hadn’t been processed yet.

The person at the lost and found was very friendly and helpful. And when we left, there was only one couple waiting. I would have thought there would be more people, even on a Saturday.
