One of the highlights of Summer in Zürich Unterland is dragon boat racing in Eglisau.
This weekend was the event and one of the local bars put a team together for laughs, they named the team Hangover
I was talking to the drummer, a retired lady, who told me they only did two practice runs before the event.
They finished seventeenth out of 31.
I watched one of their races.
Their competitors were a semi professional team in matching uniforms who did special exercises for ten minutes before boarding the boat.
The Hangover rolled up in whatever old clothes they did not mind getting wet, staggered aboard after a late night Saturday celebrating the first day and won by over two boat lenghts.
