You know the Drambuie - I hope?
It seems there are difficulties with the export now.
Maybe due to Brexit?
I haven't been able to look at a Drambuie bottle since my 1973 charter flight full of 20-somethings from LAX to Europe via the polar route. The flight was jam-packed; they ran out of booze and food somewhere over Reykjavik, so they handed out half-bottles of Drambuie to quell an insurrection. I've never been so sick from alcohol...
Well - one should not gulp down that precious Drambuie like beer or water.
But in little sips like a strong whisky.

I prefer 2/3 whiskey and 1/3 Drambuie with a big ice cube in my favourite drink.
Never had a problem finding Drambuie when I was a frequent flier.
Drambuie in a shot glass sunk into a pint of beer = depth charge.....

I like Drambuie, but my personal preference is Glayva. Sheer nectar, drank too much of it one Christmas whilst wrapping presents - stood up, fell against the tree and demolished it. Happy days
If you think Drambuie is nothing else than just another whisky, than it is too sweet of course.
But in the ways of liqueurs it is not too sweet.
It is spicy and pleasant.
