Hi everybody,

I'm new here.I heard a lot about the Dreambox but nobody knows how it works really.You can see TV without paying cablecom.

Once I buy the dream box what should I do?

The Dream box should be connected to the CABLECOM access in the my flat to navigate in Interenet and search the keys.Is this true?

Can somebody help me to understand how it works?

Dreambox runs on Linux, that means you can customize it as much as you want. Basically there's some software on it emulating the Cam (a user-land daemon, camd if I'm not wrong) and you have to download an ascii file containing decrypting codes that will be read from the camd daemon under some specific directory.

There's an image to be downloaded with which you can "update" your dreambox and which contains all the necessary software, but I don't know whether I can post this in this forum or not. A google search should help any way.
