What is the dress code in Swiss Swimming Pools for both men and women, boys and girls?
Are bikinis and Speedos not ok?
We've seen people in bikinis in some pools, so they should be ok, but again, best to check with the pool you're going to.
Where do you move from? Directly from garden of eden? Will you ask about pajamas next?
As Mirfield says different pools have different rules. Some don't allow swim shorts, some oblige people to wear a swim cap etc.etc.
There is no general rule for Switzerland so it's best to check for the pool you want to go to but personally I've never been anywhere that doesn't allow speedos or bikinis.
Very much up to the canton.

What is commonly worn by teenage girls in Basel in summer?
Something like this?
It might be easier for us if she just sent us the daughter, we bring her up and return her when she is 18
And yes I know in the USA if a man wears a speedo they think he's a homo. But thats normal in puritanical US
Mom, let your kid go to school and see what everyone is wearing and make her own decisions. All teenage girls here do all of their shopping in Zara, Pull & Bear, H&M and C&A. If you do not have those exact stores where you are then your daughter's clothes are not going to be exactly right anyway, so why are you expending all of this time and energy?
You should be using this valuable time to stock up on brown sugar and Tylenol, , not crop tops and bikinis which can probably be worn for about two weeks of the year. You do realize you are moving to a cold country, right?
Part of the appealing fun will be for her to try to figure out what to wear, by herself. It was for me, too. It will take her a few days only, I wouldn't sweat over it, if anything, US always seemed slightly more conservative fashion-wise. Teens are very independent here.
