Drive to Gambia

I would like to purchase a car here in Switzerland and drive to Gambia, sell the car and hitch a flight back to Switzerland (not Swaziland)...I'm pretty flexible on dates etc....anybody interested to join me?

anybody? (this message is too short)

Will you take a route through Libya on Swiss plates?

Funny...nah, I plan to go to Morocco, Algeria, Mali, Senegal or Guinea...you coming?

Is it this trip here you have in mind ? http://www.plymouth-dakar.co.uk/

Doc.

I heard you had a nice motorcycle could you please leave it to me on your will. Will pick up 2-3 weeks after you leave

..no particularly....I have a friend from Gambia...and he told me that it's nice there...and thus I figured I should give it a go. Flying would be easier, but it's so 2009...I'd rather go for something new.

No, I don't own a vehicle at present...sorry to disappoint you. I can leave you my apparment lease

hmm...I would be freer in a few months time and then perhaps. Although I'm not 100% on Gambia per se. What kind of music do you like?

Sounds like a seriously cool plan. I guess this year is not going to be the year for me to do something like this...

Ever since I read about the "Ash, Kent to Tashkent" challenge, I would love to do a roadtrip like this.

If you change your plan from Gambia to the Netherlands I will join you

As previously mentioned..I'm flexible. I like all sort of music...although my key interest are reggae, latin, some opera, some arabic and hip hop.

What destination would entice you?

How long will be the journey? Next year I would have some spare time at some point, not sure yet..

But yes, do keep me posted.. Im stupid enough to do anything*, atleast once

*Some exception do apply.

My girl and I actually plan to head to Amsterdam again in a few weeks. It's fairly cheap around this time of the year.

When exactly do you plan to leave and for how long?

Not sure...I'd guess around 3 weeks...

Not sure and don't matter....

Thanks...well, as it is not engraved in stone as yet....let's keep in touch and see.

Eastern Turkey and then at the border we see how we feel.

Interesting...I mean, we could always get a car in Dubai and drive it to Switzerland.

How old are you by the way? Being a dashing young man in my early twenties, I wouldn't feel very safe with a beardy weirdy old man

I'm 28...generally, I'm about a person's character and not about the age. There are some fellow youngens who are pretty weird as well

Cool

...so I take it we are going end of this year or Q1 next year?
