Driving 130kph in a 100kph Zone

Was driving from Reiden to Emmen today along the A2, and was cruising along at 125-130kph in a 120kph zone, as most people do. As I passed the Dagmersellen turnoff, the car's navigation system was shwoing a speed limit of 100kph. I looked up and there it was, a 100kph derestriction sign, showing I was leaving a 100kph zone. I didn't notice a flash or anything, but then again I didnt notice the sign for the 100kph zone. I must have just missed the sign, but even so, there were no orange lines, it seemed like the construction was happening further back at the turnoff.

I have started to notice that on the motorways there is sometimes only one sign on either side which can be easily missed or even blocked by trucks and other vehicles. I checked online, and with a 4-6kph margin for error, I would just be udner court summons . Has anyone else found themselves in a similar situation? Normally I never have trouble with speed limit awareness, but seems as though the A2 is littered with these unmarked construction zones featuring only one sign.

If your satnav has the sign for 100 it is not an unmarked construction zone.

Mine still shows 120 on the Nordring Zurich......

I agree with roegner... if your satnav showed 100, then it most likely is a permanent restriction rather than a temporary one.

The A2 in that area is being overhauled until 2022. Presumably speed limits will be lowered to 80 or 100 km/h as necessary, which of course requires the corresponding pair of signs. Unfortunately, the end-of-limit sign is removed without removing the begin-of-limit as well, leaving drivers in the unclear.

Maybe that's why the "end" signs are placed beforehand, to avoid causing that inconvenience. I haven't encountered something like that myself but it would definitely make sense.

Don't most modern sat navs update in real time?

SatNav alone not if it's a temporary (construction-wise) limit.

Some newer cars have cameras for roadside sign recognition - only in that case they could have "live" limit popping up on the HUD/dashboard/infotainment screen.
